Lauren Risk RVN Registered Veterinary Nurse

I qualified as a RVN in 2018 and have worked in veterinary practice for 13 years. I joined Struthers and Scott in January 2018. I enjoy theatre nursing and inpatient nursing, especially feline patients. Last year I completed the ISFM Certificate in Feline Nursing with distinction. I enjoy supporting our student vet nurses and combine vet nursing with lecturing part time.

In my spare time I enjoy teaching fitness classes at the gym, walking my spaniel and if there’s time, having a cup of tea with a good book. I have a working Cocker Spaniel called Maud and two Chinchilla Persian cats called Flora and Alfie.
